Water is supplied from double sources: Honggang Water Works with a capacity of 400,000 tons per day and Langshan Water Works with a capacity of 50,000 tons per day. The price is the lowest as compared to many other big cities of Jiangsu. NETDA borders the Yangtze River, and annual water flow 973 billion cubic meters as calculated in NETDA section. Fresh-water resource is also readily available to facilitate the set-up of industrial projects in NETDA requiring huge amount of water.
